Disinfection
Water disinfection treatment
The water disinfection process is used to obtain process water and/or water that is suitable for food consumption. Disinfection usually follows other types of treatment, such as deferrisation, to refine the wastewater treatment process. Contact us for a consultation; we design and build disinfection systems.
What is the water disinfection process?
Water is the preferred vector for the spread of infectious diseases. Disinfection of potable water or well water serves to remove pathogenic microorganisms that are harmful to humans from the liquid. Physical or chemical disinfecting agents also remove organic pollutants, which feed and harbour microorganisms.
We calibrate our disinfectants in order to achieve the best results
Disinfection can be performed using specific products and treatments. Depending on the pathogen that needs to be removed, we study the most suitable disinfectant agent or system to remove it.
Importance of disinfection
Disinfection of wastewater
Wastewater disinfection serves to remove pathogenic microorganisms from contaminated water that has already undergone purification treatments. The main disinfection processes used for wastewater are chlorination, ozonation and use of ultra-violet rays.
